Due to increased costs for electricity, gas and services in an environment of constrained raw material supplies, Bakelite Synthetics North America will apply an energy surcharge, effective November 15th 2021. The impact on our product range is as follows:
Novolac, Powder and Specialty Resins:
$50/MT
Liquid Resins:
$30/MT
Formaldehyde and Hexamine:
$10/MT
These price increases are independent from freight and raw material cost increases and are a response to the current unprecedented conditions. This surcharge will remain in effect until costs stabilize. Bakelite account managers will contact customers to discuss these price increases in more detail.
