Bakelite recently supported a major milestone in Frielendorf, Germany, as TuSpo Frielendorf celebrated its 120th anniversary with a multi-day football festival.
TuSpo Frielendorf, a local sports club, brought together players, families and fans for a full schedule of matches and activities marking the occasion. Held at the Frielendorf sports field, the four-day celebration offered something for all ages while creating opportunities for connection through sport. One of the weekend’s standout moments came on Sunday, when the 1. FC Köln Legends team took on the Frielendorf veterans’ team in a friendly match.
With more than 600 spectators in attendance, the match carried strong energy from kickoff to final whistle and highlighted a shared passion for football across generations. Earlier in the weekend, long-time club members were also recognized, underscoring TuSpo Frielendorf’s deep roots and lasting impact in the community.
