Bakelite Synthetics has developed high-performance silicone-modified phenolic resins, Bakelite® FD-1320E and Bakelite® FD-1246E, which provide reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) in disc brake pads formulation. In addition, these resins offer flexible processability in various formulations by providing an expanded operating process window.
