Bakelite Teams Hit the Links for a Good Cause

Bakelite associates recently joined fellow community members on the course to support DIRECTION SERVICE, a nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities and special needs across Lane County.

The annual Direction Service Golf Tournament brought together 36 teams for a day of friendly competition and fundraising in support of education, basic needs and health-related programs that make a positive difference for families throughout the region.

Bakelite proudly sponsored two teams in the tournament, with associates from our Eugene and Albany sites representing the company while connecting with fellow participants and community supporters. Events like this highlight the difference that can be made when businesses, local partners and community members come together in pursuit of a common goal.

While there may have been a few birdies, a handful of bogeys and plenty of laughs along the way, the real win was helping support a cause that changes lives.

A special thank you to the associates who represented Bakelite at this year’s tournament, including Jesse Wuori, Rob Garcia, Julian Ross, Dave Plume, Wes Lash, Keith Miller, Colton Ringheimer and Tom George. Your participation helped make a meaningful difference both on and off the course.
