What advice would you give to someone with a new CDL?
“For anyone just starting out with a Commercial Driver’s License, the most important thing is to stay committed to safety in every aspect of the job. Follow all DOT regulations carefully — they exist to protect you, other drivers, and the public. Treat driving as the skilled profession it is. Take pride in your work, stay alert, keep learning, and make responsible decisions on the road. When you approach this career with professionalism from day one, you set yourself up for long‑term success.”
What attracted you to becoming a professional driver?
“I’ve always felt drawn to the idea of being on the open road, operating large equipment, and taking on a role with real responsibility. Driving wasn’t just a job for me — it was a goal I’ve wanted to pursue for years. The chance to turn that passion into a career is what ultimately brought me into the profession.”
