The Bakelite Women’s Network celebrated its one-year anniversary on October 31 with a global virtual event.
Since its inception in 2023, the Bakelite Women’s Network has held more than 30 events with participation from over 500 associates collectively. The Bakelite Women’s Network is designed to attract and retain strong female talent at Bakelite while promoting trust and a safe place for a like-minded community. It also provides professional and individual development opportunities, as well as a platform to “give back” to the business in the form of sounding boards and business projects.
The Bakelite Women’s Network leadership team shared what the group has accomplished over the past year, what it has planned for next year, and introduced the newest leadership team members and what their roles are within the group.
