For the second year in a row, Bakelite’s Eugene team came together for a tree‑planting event focused on environmental stewardship. Associates gathered on site to plant a locally sourced, locally grown Ponderosa pine—continuing a tradition that reflects Bakelite’s commitment to sustainability and care for the places we call home.
Working side by side, associates prepared the area, enriched the soil, and ensured the new tree was set up to thrive for years to come. While the day’s impact was shared by those who participated, the benefits will continue to branch out as the tree grows and supports the surrounding environment.
In honor of Arbor Day, the planting served as a timely reminder of the role trees play in supporting a healthier, more sustainable future. The event concluded on a warm, celebratory note, with team members gathering afterward to enjoy cake and reflect on the collective effort behind the initiative—one rooted in collaboration, purpose, and a shared commitment to the environment.
