European Supply Chain Team Gathers in London
The European Supply Chain Team recently gathered in London for its first in-person meeting since uniting under OneBakelite.
Nineteen Supply Chain team members from across Europe came together for the event, as well as special guests Global Procurement Director Oscar Silvius, U.S. Supply Chain Director Rafael Morin, and Regional Supply Chain Managers Tracy Miller and Clay Alexander. The group was also joined by EVP & Managing Director Julian Welfoot, who provided a business update and held a Q&A session.
The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the Supply Chain team’s journey over the past few years, share successes and discuss areas in which the team can make improvements.
Discussion topics included site-specific insights from Supply Chain team members, identifying future challenges, customer service’s role in the business and the petrochemical chain.
The event also built camaraderie among the team and allowed international team members to connect in person. The meetings were held in central London close to the Houses of Parliament, which provided ample sightseeing opportunities for those who were interested in exploring the city!
