Progress Toward 2030 Goals
Our 2030 sustainability roadmap includes ambitious targets for reducing energy, water, and waste intensity. In 2024, we made significant strides:
- Energy intensity: Reduced by 10.6%
- Water intensity: Reduced by 23.8%
- Waste intensity: Reduced by 7.3%
These improvements are supported by investments in renewable energy and process optimization across our global network.
Innovating with Bio-Based Adhesives
In July 2025, we acquired Sestec, a leader in 100% bio-based, protein-based adhesives for wood and composite panels. This strategic move expands our portfolio of sustainable solutions, helping customers reduce VOCs and fossil carbon content in their products.
